Which Will You Choose?
American civilization is on the verge of collapse. It is plain to see that the goal of American government is to turn us into barbarians, as it has been doing for 240 years.
Because of this, a man has 4 options in today’s world:
Option #1 – Pay attention to the collapse and be ground into dust
This man watches the daily happenings of the clown class. He gets upset at the actions of those in power. He is always frustrated with how things are. He sees obvious ways to improve upon our societal situation. Maybe he writes about them, maybe he tells his neighbors, maybe he mumbles under his breath. Either way, he spends his time in a stupor of anger, or shock, incredulous as to what is happening.
The problem with option #1 is that it only hurts the man. Nothing is improved, nothing is done to change the direction of things. He grows weary and exasperated being angry all the time. He is made to be weak. Until he goes to option #2 or #3.
Option #2 – Don’t pay attention to it and enjoy life
There is a lot to be said about this option. You didn’t create the political and cultural decadence we live under. We didn’t choose this system, or even agree to it. Let those in power continue to screw up. Let those who want to pay attention to those in power continue too. But not us.
A man choosing this option refuses to pay attention…refuses to give the system any energy, thought or time. He is content to get the most enjoyment out of life…to raise his kids as well as he can…to follow and stand up for Christ at all times…to be an example to others…to be happy and not worry about how politics and the federal reserve are destroying American civilization. He inoculates himself the best he can against the negatives from a degrading society and then proceeds to live. “Life is made to be felt as a joy,” as Nock said. He enjoys life until they come to put him in the camps. Then he tries to wriggle free.
Option #3 – Become a revolutionary
The man becomes a revolutionary. How committed he is to revolution is up to him. He is not only upset at the direction of things, he commits to fight back in whatever ways are available. Unfortunately for the revolutionary, revolutions almost always end with the state winning – gaining more power – while the common man loses power.
This is true in all the revolutions america has had since the revolutionary war. The 2nd rev – when the articles of confederation was overturned and replaced with the dreadful constitution. The 3rd – war of northern aggression. 4Th – creation of the criminal fed reserve. 5Th – election of socialist roosevelt, etc. And the list goes on.
These were all revolutions…and the common man lost every one of them as more power was transferred from him to the government.
But this doesn’t sway the revolutionary man, and we tip our hats to him, but understand the odds, and the probability that any win might look like a win, but in the end is another loss, as the state ends up with more power.
Option #4 – Create new systems
Go Galt. Don’t try to take over the existing systems as the revolutionary man tries to do. Instead, build up new systems to take the place of old systems as they break down. Food, clothing, goods, services, community, teaching, art, beauty. In America or elsewhere. To not only not pay attention to the system but to not even use the system…do not participate in the system…do not reform the old system…create new systems. This is the most difficult of the options, but the most fruitful if one can pull it off.
Probably some combination of the 4 is preferable.
Certainly always enjoy life. Be joyful. Look for opportunities to become less attached to the system…especially with regard to building new systems. Stand up for what you believe in. Pay attention to the decline of America as much to get out of the way of it. Build new systems if you have the mind and ability for it. Build the systems on the bedrock principles as taught by Christ and you will do well. You will be a true revolutionary, helping all those around you.
Here is an interesting note from “Detachaction” from the comment section of a zerohedge.com article suggesting option #4, going Galt:
They take us as fools and most of our fellow citizens are. For those tired of being deceived, coerced, manipulated, gamed, it’s the 11th hour. The system is far too large for any individual to throw a branch in its spokes on their own.
We must opt out, never vote again, acquire land, secure arms to defend you and yours from this accelerating tyranny, start 3d printing, use btc to erase economic dependence, set up decentralized autonomous communities of like minded individuals(make sure at least 150 miles from any national border).
They will come for us eventually. In this mindless world its worth the sacrifice. We have to lay the groundwork now if we want to pass on liberty and self determination to future generations.
